IFS officer Anisha Tomar was diagnosed with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) in February 2018, the period when she started preparing for her second attempt at UPSC exams.

Renowned for his diplomatic finesse, extreme courtesy and sharp intellect, KPS Menon (Junior) remains an inspiration for all current and aspiring IFS officers.

This is not the first time such a proposal has been made. The recommendation was initially put forth by UPSC three years ago and was cleared by the Cabinet.
