Having seen the perils of child labour first hand, Anuradha Bhonsale from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, has worked hard to rescue kids from the same fate. She is the director of Avani, an NGO that rescues such children.

The project, called Kerala Fibre Optic Network, has been allotted ₹1,000 crore to meet its goals.
