Dated between 2600 and 1900 BC, the Harappan civilisation was spread over Afghanistan, Sind, Balochistan, Jammu, Punjab, northern Rajasthan, Kathiawar, and Gujarat.
These particular findings are the much-awaited results of an excavation conducted in 2015 by a team led by Dr Vasant Shinde, an archaeologist and Vice-Chancellor of Pune's Deccan College.
One of the research papers he is currently working on is about the dispersion of Buddhism to Egypt by Ashoka, where Arsh has found new evidence linking Ashoka’s Dhamma to Egypt.
