Aadiwasi Janjagruti, a grassroots initiative in Dhadgaon, Maharashtra, is empowering tribal communities through video storytelling and local media, bridging gaps between villagers and governance. Founded by Nitesh Bhardwaj in 2016, the addresses issues like child labour, sanitation, and corruption.

Content with the life choices the duo has made, KP Illias and Shamika Mone are on the pursuit of engaging more farmers across the country in organic farming.

This year, the Award for Outstanding Contribution in the Field of Constructive Work was given to Gandhian and social activist of Uttarakhand, Dhoom Singh Negi.
