A woman of limited means living on a pension in a remote village in Karanataka, used up her savings to dig a well so several households would have water to drink.
The Shyama Prasad Mukherji Rurban Mission (SPMRM) aims to provide urban amenities in rural areas and thus develop 300 clusters of smart villages around the country in the next three years.
