While it is common for most of us to scrunch our noses up in disgust at the sight and smell of drainage waters flowing through gutters, these school girls have found a way to generate electricity from drainage water and have developed a micro power generator to facilitate the same.

The children have started not only internalising it, but are also trying to translate this knowledge and practice to their families and community at large.

Breaking away from the traditional practice of ‘mugging up’ books, these IIT students are helping children breakdown concepts and understanding them better.
