“We knew we wished to combine the causes of environment and poetry with social entrepreneurship. Our best selling products would otherwise take 20,000 years to degenerate!” says Madhuri, one of the co-founders.
To keep up the good work, the Municipal Corporation of the city has now taken a step towards eliminating single-use plastic cutlery not only in government offices but in food joints and private functions too.
"To provide tea, lassi, and other food items to the passengers, kulhads, glasses, and bowls made of clay will be used. This will help in environmental protection as well as will profit the domestic industry."
