After being on the radar for recording a staggering gender gap in its under-five mortality rate, the state has finally managed to redeem itself and bridge it in 2016, according to the Registrar General of India’s latest report.

Most men grow up with the misconception that women would somehow ‘benefit’ from gender equality and that men might end up losing recognition in the workplace.

The UNICEF's report titled State of the World's Children 2017: Children in a digital world highlights how the internet in India is still a gender-based privilege, a ‘male bastion’ or ‘male preserve.’
