Food for homeless

Anand Mahindra took to Twitter to appreciate the work of engineering dropout Shivam Soni, whose initiative Hunger Langar offers meals for just Rs 10. Here is his story.

Meena and Harsh Mandavia's tiffin delivery service has provided over 15,000 free meals and 40,000 rotis to those who need it most during this pandemic.

There is an army of Robin Hoods spread across different cities in India and Pakistan. They are seen dressed in green, much like their namesake - a heroic outlaw in English folklore. And they go out at night, fighting hunger with a powerful weapon - food.

A group of 5 elders and 40 youth have begun an initiative to provide food to over 400 people by collection and distribution.
