The flowers at the Mughal Gardens have been named after famed personalities like Queen Elizabeth, French fashion designer Christian Dior, and presidents from across the globe.
Flowers that never wilt and leaves and grass that don’t dry up, can only be found in a dimly lit greenhouse in the heart of Ooty. This evergreen artificial plant kingdom is the only one of its kind in the world. All the plants here are fabricated with thread and look so natural that they rival real ones in beauty.
Rashtrapati Bhavan's Mughal Gardens will open for public from February 12 to March 19 this year, between 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. The Mughal Gardens Udyanotsav is a month long festival celebrated every year, and people can also visit the Spiritual Garden, Herbal Garden, Bonsai Garden and Musical Garden as a part of the festival.
