The Gurgaon Organic Farmers’ Market (GOFM) is largely a citizen’s initiative, spearheaded by permaculture designer Manas Arvind, organic enthusiast Adarsh Kanwal and around eight other residents of Gurugram.

Founded by Anuradha Krishnamoorthy and Namrata Sundaresan, Käse employs disabled women as cheese-makers and promotes local flavours.

Sustainable food isn’t just a means to eat better. It can also help feed the hungry, empower farmers and reduce the strain of food wastage on the planet.
