An innovative organic farming method is helping Haryana's Phool Kumar grow a staggering 777 fruit trees on a quarter acre of land.

Uma Mahato is a farmer from Dhanbad, one of the largest coal producers in India, who has spent over a decade working to revive his ancestral land, which was reeling under the effects of environmental degradation, and earn a stable income of Rs 3 lakh a year.

"It was difficult to imagine that almost 95 tonnes of my cabbage would rot," says Kannaiyan Subramanian who tweeted a video of his cabbage farm, asking for help.
