Project Navriddhi in Chandigarh aims to kill two birds with one stone: offer a source of income to women from underprivileged backgrounds and tackle the issue of dry waste in the city through upcycling.

In a bid to prevent open defecation and usher in hygiene and cleanliness among slum-dwellers of New Delhi, a group of college students have initiated a unique campaign that has brought down the open defecation rates in some slums from 95% to 3%.

The students from SRCC college started an initiative to help the amazing art form of puppetry, and today they have managed to change the lives of 14 such artists. From connecting the puppeteers with the market to providing training and organizing workshops, this team is transforming the fate of traditional puppeteers.
