Empowerment through education

Two years ago, Nitin Baswasker dropped out of school and was known for getting involved in street fights. Today, the 17-year-old has turned his life around and is an inspiration to those around him.

The state government has set aside 500 crores from its own resources to fund the scheme which has been named the 'Kalinga Sikshya Sathi Yojana'

Education empowered Barkhat to take charge of his own future. Today, he works with 3,500 children in two government schools to help them do the same.
