As India's 2014 election results start rolling out today, many of us are unaware how exactly the votes are counted from the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs). This video explains how the EVM is opened, votes counted and noted down from each of these machines. And yes, there are 551 million votes to be counted!

Meera Sanyal & Medha Patkar are Aam Aadmi Party candidates for the Mumbai elections. They are two of the 57 women candidates fielded by AAP. They come from completely different backgrounds, have contrasting visions and yet - have a common cause!
