Education of the Girl Child

Having seen his sisters deprived of an education, this cab driver refused to let the same happen to his daughter. He now works two jobs and often sacrifices his sleep in his mission to educate his daughter.

Nineteen-year-old Nazmeen battled gender bias, family pressure and societal expectations, but never gave up on her dream to get educated. Today, thanks to her job, she helps support her family.
