Dr Mathew Varghese is working tirelessly to make lives of polio patients easier, and to help them walk on their feet without assistance.

Five years ago, India accounted for nearly half of all new wild poliovirus cases in the country. On 13th January 2014, India celebrated three years without a single case. It's one of the greatest public health accomplishments of all time.
