Jayant Manghnani, a class 11 student, and four of his friends launched SHUDH — an initiative to provide clean drinking water to the residents of Rasoolpura slum in Hyderabad. Having supplied water filters to a 100 families they aim to reach 1,000 more.
This orphanage houses 30 children, 27 boys, and three girls, between 5 and 18 years old. They figured that this was the right number of people and located at a distance that would make the most sense.
