‘Good to Grab’ is fighting climate change by reducing food waste from restaurants. By rescuing surplus meals and offering them at 50% discounts, the startup is saving over 10,000 plates from ending up in landfills.
Ecovia was founded by Dhwani Mehta, Pranjul Jain and Parikshit Joon in 2021 with the sole intent of reducing the plastic material used in packaging online purchases.
As the food served here is organic, packing it in plastic lowers its nutritional value. While this was difficult to explain to customers in the beginning, it has now become the restaurant’s USP.
