Vanaja Vasudev, a resident of Alapuzzha district in Kerala, recently wrote a Facebook post about how she finds the statement regarding the possibility of men being jailed for staring at women for 14 second ludicrous. And the Internet bombarded her with obscene and derogatory remarks.

A daughter in law cannot be "thrown out of her matrimonial home at any time" and should be treated as a family member. The respect accorded to her "reflects the sensitivity of a civilized society," says the Supreme Court.
