To come up all along the Delhi border with Haryana, Rajasthan and UP, this natural barrier will utilise native trees to release oxygen around the clock while absorbing pollution-causing particulate matters!

Under the project, the DDA will create recreational parks, wetlands, cycling tracks and a forested buffer area on the area spanning 500 acres between the Old Railway Bridge and ITO Bridge.

The plea expresses that the DDA's decision to arbitrarily convert the park into a community centre is "a clear-cut example of poor planning and an example of wastage of public money.”
