This teenage boy has now become a symbol of persistence and strength for many students after he wrote his Class 10 CBSE exams standing and scored a whopping 93.4%.

“Deep down, I had a feeling that I will top the exams, but I didn’t share it with anyone as I thought people will poke fun at me. I’m glad that my efforts have paid off.”

A student of Suncity School, Gurgaon, Anushka Panda topped the CBSE 2018 class 10 exam with a whopping 489 marks out of 500 and 97.8% in the differently-abled category.

This year, the CBSE is all set to announce the results of about 28 lakh students on 28 May 2018 and to end the woes of students and parents, it has partnered with Google.

This move should be applauded as a step in the right direction towards encouraging students to take up sports seriously.
