Book donation

What happens to textbooks, guides, half-used books, and stationery once a student completes an academic year, he wondered. Well, they are thrown out or land up with the raddiwala.

“The books are then brought to our warehouse in West Delhi, which also doubles up as a library. We, along with the help of about 40 volunteers and interns, sort through every book, the ones that are torn, or not in good condition are sent for recycling while the good ones are stacked up for circulation.”

The beneficiaries can be bibliophiles in search of that one long lost book or underprivileged school or college students. Let’s spread the joy of reading to those who can’t afford it.
