Indian Railways' in-house contest for the country's most beautiful station found a winner in Maharashtra's Chandrapur and Ballarshah junctions. Madurai, Madhubani, Gandhidham, Kota and Secunderabad also made it to the coveted list.

As many as 600 volunteers in Mumbai got together and undertook the beautification of Sion Railway Station. And the results are amazing.

Makeovers seem to be the latest trend in the world of railway stations in India. Stations across the country are getting swanky walls with beautiful paintings, clean platforms, colourful stairs, and a very welcoming environment.
