Auto Chandran

The national award winning Tamil film Visaaranai (Interrogation) has been selected by the Indian Film Federation as the country’s official entry for Academy Awards 2016, under the Foreign Languages category.

Chandrakumar, an auto driver from Coimbatore, writes novels when he is stuck in traffic jams and while waiting for his passengers. He will soon be a part of the Venice Film Festival for the screening of a film that is based on his first novel. This his journey.
