Savithri Rao started learning Yakshagana, a traditional theatre form, at the age of 66. In May 2018, Savithri took the stage for her 100th Yakshagana performance as Duryodhana in the mythological story ‘Narakasura Vadhe.’ To date, she has over 110 performances to her credit.

Interestingly, even at the age of 78, renowned artist, Baua Devi uses twigs, matchsticks, fingers and natural colours for her paintings.

"I didn't have the money to afford a place to stay. Sometimes, I would sleep on railway platforms. But nothing mattered", says the 18-year-old lad who has been offered a seat in some of the world's most prestigious ballet academies. #Inspiration #Respect
