The Railway Board has agreed to the proposal of the Karnataka government for conversion of 15 existing short-distance passenger trains into Mainline Multiple Electric Units (MEMU)
Passengers without confirmed train tickets may soon have an alternative — they may use the same wait listed ticket to board another train plying on the same route.
