The Serum Institute of India (SII) was granted market authorisation by DCGI to manufacture Cervavac. This is India’s qHPV vaccine against cervical cancer.

Currently in the spotlight for a possible COVID-19 vaccine, the company has been producing low-cost doses since 1966.

Phase-1 and Phase-2 trials by Oxford showed no adverse side-effects and generated an immune response among health participants.

Under this initiative, garbage bins have been installed at strategic, high traffic locations in Pune.
