When she saw children growing up without schools, she didn’t wait for change — she painted it. From slum walls to 800+ learning centres and 1.5 lakh repaired homes, Rouble Nagi is redefining what it means to be a teacher.

Trisha Bhattacharya and Soorya Balasubramanian, students of classes 9 and 10 from Vibgyor High School in Goregaon, were behind this initiative.

Sana recalls how she would often find these kids right outside the door, speaking in a crude language, hurling abuses at each other. Many of them never had the fortune to even look at a school gate.
