To facilitate this Aadhaar-mobile linking for users, especially senior citizens, the government is trying to come up with alternate solutions - including proxy authorisation.
These centres will be equipped with machines approved by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and employ agency-trained personnel to carry forth the Aadhaar-related procedures seamlessly.
The UIDAI is allowing Aadhaar card holders to place requests to update details including the registered address, name, date of birth, mobile and email address.
In an attempt to create a more seamless boarding experience, the government is trying to promote technology and bring down the cost of security personnel deployment, an official said.
The concept of a no-fly list comes from the United States of America where the federal government terrorist-screening centre maintains a list of people who are barred from boarding commercial flights in and out of America and even over its airspace.
