It all began when 12-year-old Kulsum's teacher from the Haji Public School in the Breswana village of Jammu and Kashmir, posted the heartrending lines that the young girl had written about being inspired by JK Rowling’s life and her legacy on Twitter two months back.

Bengaluru girl Nilanjanaa Jayant won an award at the Golden Voices of America challenge, which secured her the opportunity of a lifetime to perform at Carnegie Hall, New York.
