“Our organic waste is not a problem and is actually a solution to our energy problem. Social collaborations are very essential in such a scenario. For example, in our society, everyone segregates their own waste."
Kelkar’s passion for the artefacts was not limited to a time period nor to one form of an item. By 1960, he had collected more than 21,000 items—ranging from pots to instruments and paintings to daggers.
"I had cultivated coriander on 20 gunthas of land (0.4 acre approx). I faced losses with all the other vegetables I had grown last year. But coriander has saved me."
