Jai Dhar, founder of Nirvana Being in Delhi, suffered due to the highly polluted air in the National Capital. So, he innovated air filters that can easily fit into one's AC in simple steps.

A team of researchers from IIT-Delhi conducted a study across 20 major sewer drains and 5 prominent sites on river Yamuna in New Delhi. And what they found is a health threat we can no longer afford to ignore.

It started with one innocuous cough in the middle of the night, waking me up, and for a moment, I was unable to breathe. I clutched onto anything I could lay my hands on as my lungs squeezed the life out of me.

“When I was in grade 9, I started taking an active interest in working on issues around air pollution. I have worked with United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Delhi Metro, and also with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) on various issues pertaining to the environment,” says the proactive teenager.
