My Story

"At the time, I knew nothing about thyroid cancer. I knew I had a thyroid, but didn’t really know what it did. We are told to check our skin for moles, or for lumps in our breasts, but no one ever talks about checking your neck."

How I see it is that India is not only a hotbed of many of the world’s challenges, but more importantly, of its solutions.

For this initiative started by his school, he had to only raise ₹40K, but in two months, he surpassed his goal.

With the Bengaluru rains in a rampage mode, our plans for the weekend seemed to go for a toss but an intersting turn of events made up for a night we would never forget!

Brits are great at being friendly, but not so much at being friends. Indians are great at being friends, but no so much at being friendly. As a Brit living in India, i'm trying to find a happy balance between the two.

As a Londoner living in India, understanding social etiquette in India has been an interesting journey. Here's some of my biggest learnings so far!

Every time those people came forward, they added a new story to my life!

Living in the UK, I never really considered disposal of my food waste to be my personal concern. Moving to Bangalore has not only forced me to challenge this attitude, but also to seek out my own solutions.

For foreigners, getting it 'right' in India is tricky. I learnt the hard way recently when my local friend invited me to her place for dinner and was kind enough to reveal to me afterwards that I was in fact, a terrible dinner guest.
