8-year-old Anupriya had saved ₹9000 over a span of four years, but broke open all of her piggy banks after seeing visuals of the affected people on TV and decided that her dream of owning bicycle could wait.
Along with the seven wagons of water that have already been dispatched from Chengalpattu, the national transporter has also been supplying bottled water to the flood-affected areas in Kerala.
"Most fishermen who are engaged in the relief work have left their daily work to help out people. This isn't a spontaneous one-time initiative; we are doing it with a consistent unity."
