When John Ignatius Kujur found out that his senior from college was unable to find a job because of his disability, he was inspired to innovate.

Sreekanth's 'Hello Buddy' auto provides its users with phone charging facilities, free Wif-Fi, reverse cameras and even newspapers in English, Malayalam and Tamil!

“Our love story started out with a rejection. I was crossing the road and he extended his hand to help. By then I had adapted myself in crossing roads and doing other motor skills so I refused. Who knew a refusal would lead to a lifetime of companionship."

“It was very early on in life that I developed an interest in swimming. I remember there were so many villagers who would ask me how and why I am swimming but it was something that I enjoyed doing and therefore continued with it,” he recollects.

"All the accolades and awards I have received can never match the heartfelt gratitude and blessings from my blind daughters and their families.”

"I was rejected because of my disability. College authorities would even tell me to be less ambitious," says the gritty girl who aims to be a doctor.

“I have to repay a loan of Rs 1.5 lakhs. Giving a better quality of life to my daughter is my priority and most of my income goes in her physiotherapy,” says Nishanth who is in dire need of financial help. Here’s how you can lend a hand.

“I have been learning English on the app for free since the past one year. I love this course and feel motivated every time I pick up something new,” says Anil, a user.

"If accessibility and reasonable accommodation are missing, people with disabilities cannot exercise their rights, which leads to discrimination,” she says.

At a time when there is a lack of empathy and facilities for people with disabilities, two mental health professionals are changing the game!
