From managing about 100 orders a month to now fulfilling 2000 orders month-on-month, Gulabs is a brand that has grown.

Launched in 2017, this two-year research internship programme, offers learners a stipend of between Rs 40,000 to Rs 60,000 per month.

"We did not want to import marble from Italy or wood from Brazil. We wanted to include local labour, local resources and more importantly, local arts and crafts in the homes we built."

“A chance visit to Tirumeyyam made me explore its history. It pulled me to the world of inscriptions carved in many monuments of India,” says Pradeep.

"I told him it's wise to keep stock. No, he said. I have enough for two days. What if there is someone starving and in more need of the food? I'll direct the next help to such a needy person.”

He currently supplies 45 kilos of microgreens in a month and hopes to supply 200 kilos in the next six months!

“Making kolams on an almost every day basis gives me a purpose and a reason to go on,” says Bhargavii, who dons various hats. An interior designer by qualification, Bhargavii has varied interests in multiple art forms ranging from photography to animation.
