The entrance examination will carry 70 per cent weightage and the interview will carry 30 per cent weightage.

While there is no upper age limit for applicants, they must be above 17 years of age. CTET has two papers - Paper 1 for teachers who wish to teach grades 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for grades 6 to 8.

After the candidate has submitted the online form, the same must be duly self-attested and kept ready for perusal when asked for.
