From behavioural & music therapy, to horticulture & vocational training – this inspiring Kerala woman is training the students with the helps of 12,000 youth volunteers from across different colleges in the state.

Alongside crops, the open jail is also home to livestock, with 50 cows, 50 goats, 20 buffaloes and a poultry farm which produces eggs worth Rs 6 lakh every year.

For the past nine years, the couple has been following a 5 AM -11 PM schedule, including running a YouTube channel with more than 64,000 subscribers.

"Imagine a situation where you have only water from the borewell for survival. That's what we first saw when we started out with the relief work."

These 100 acres symbolise the unbelievable determination of 21,000 families, who built something spectacular and earned huge profits.

This retired teacher from Kerala is helping farmers from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala by sourcing organic veggies from them for his shop.

Today ‘Farm To Table’ – an online food business – ships its products to metropolitan cities across India and earns up to Rs.20,000 every month.

“I had always wanted to be a teacher and all my efforts in life were always pointed towards that direction. But when this happened, I was confused. The negativity started kicking in and I knew I needed something to distract myself.”

Seeing the struggle that the students are going through amidst the lockdown, a retired school teacher donated his pension money to buy 18 digital tablets for underprivileged students!

Hailing from Thrissur, Pradeep Payyoor has converted his home into a shelter, rescuing 1000+ injured and stray animals over 20 years.
