5th Space – Making the other four count

Over 400 Jagriks (Jagruk+Nagriks) have undertaken an arduous journey to better understand the Indian Constitution and its tenets and apply them in their lives, under Samvidhan Live: the Jagrik Project. Kanika Sinha talks about how watching these 400 journeys progress helped her better identify with the Constitution and apply its principles in her life.

Exploring religion can be a deeply moving experience, especially when one decides to overcome his/her own prejudices and explore other religions with an open mind. Jagrik (Jagruk+Nagrik) Priyanshu from Ahmedabad, Gujarat narrates his experience exploring different religions as part of a task for Samvidhan LIVE: The Jagrik Project.

The Constitution of India is one of the most important documents in the country, yet for many people, it is little more than a dusty memory from their school Civics classes. However, a group of individuals from around the country are undertaking an initiative to educate themselves and others about the significance of this cornerstone of India and its contents. Meet the Jagriks of Samvidhan LIVE.

A new initiative – Samvidhan Live - The Jagrik Project – is trying to get its participants (Jagriks) to discover more about the Constitution and its tenets through an interactive simulation. Along the way, the Jagriks will undergo a journey of self-realisation and development, and use the lessons they have picked up to change the world.

Despite being one of the most important documents in India, few Indian citizens completely understand the Constitution and what it entails. A new initiative hopes to turn this around, but through fun interactions and games, not boring lectures or presentations.
