Walk on Air: Maharashtra’s 1st Glass Skywalk Opens at Stunning Napne Waterfall

Suspended over the picturesque Napne Waterfall in Sindhudurg, Maharashtra’s first-ever glass skywalk is a breathtaking blend of engineering and nature.

Located just three kilometres from Vaibhavwadi railway station, near Nadhavade village, the skywalk offers panoramic views of the lush Konkan landscape. Known for its year-round flow and peaceful setting, the waterfall comes alive during the monsoon — drawing nature lovers and photographers to its lush, biodiverse surroundings.

Made from high-strength transparent glass with elegant arch railings and wooden-style steps, the walkway lets you walk right above the gushing waters. A giant butterfly sculpture at the entrance adds to its charm — and your photo ops.

Built at a cost of Rs 99.63 lakh under the Sindhuratna tourism initiative, the project aims to boost eco-tourism and generate local employment by attracting travellers looking for immersive and sustainable experiences.
