Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda adopted nine horses on Saturday, who will now live at his farmhouse in Gurgaon. These horses were fighting for their lives a few years ago, and were rescued by an animal welfare NGO named Friendicoes.
They will now get a chance to participate in racing events and lead a comfortable life – all thanks to the actor.

He has now bought a farmhouse in Gurgaon, where he had set up a polo club that is home to more than 40 superior-breed racing horses.
"It is nice to see that a renowned personality like Randeep Hooda has come forward to help animals. We also have over 400 bears in three rehabilitation centres in Agra, Purulia and Bengaluru. Most of these bears were rescued from the clutches of street magicians. Eleven elephants and a leopard were also rescued," said Friendicoes chairperson, Geeta Seshamani.
