Can you imagine an old-age home where the residents are viral social media stars?
Yes, such a place exists for real!
Belgaum's Shantai Second Childhood old age home is a safe space for elderly people who might not have a family or a support system.
It was started by Vijay more than two decades ago.
Fast forward to the present, the institution houses 42 elderly residents.
Vijay doesn’t charge them any money and runs the old-age home with the help of donations.
He also lives in the old age home along with his family to properly care for the elderly residents.
Amazing.
Shantai Second Childhood recently became famous when a video of its female residents happily dancing to a popular song went viral!
The internet was full of praise for these energetic Nanis and Dadis and netizens termed their enthusiasm as extremely cute & inspirational!
Since then, this group of elderly women has made more such infectious videos, proving that age is just a number and it’s never too late to connect with your inner child!!
