Every day, thousands of kilos of flowers are offered at temples across India.
Considered sacred, they're rarely thrown in the trash, but often end up choking rivers, dumped under trees, or wrapped in plastic bags.
But what if these flowers had a second life—one that’s respectful, sustainable, and healing?
Instead of becoming pollutants, these blooms can be dried, ground, and hand-rolled into incense sticks, turned into natural Holi colours or used as compost.
Why is this a beautiful use?
🔸Because the flowers are already seen as pure. Burning them in prayer gives them reincarnation rather than decay.
🔸Because they replace coal or artificial colours, making them a safer option for us and the planet.
🔸Because this dignified process creates jobs for women from low-income households, giving sacred waste a sacred purpose.
A gentle, fragrant way to close the loop—with reverence, not residue.
