Meet the Sparrow Man of Coimbatore.

A school dropout turned conservation hero, Pandiyarajan has spent 13 years saving over 3,000 sparrows by building wooden nests. Despite earning just ₹15,000 a month, Pandiyarajan invests a large part of his income in wood for birdhouses.

“We can’t take nature for granted. It’s not just about sparrows—it’s about what we leave behind for the next generation,” he says.
