Andhra Pradesh's Gopichand Thotakura, India’s pioneering civilian space traveller, has returned to Delhi after a historic journey beyond Earth’s atmosphere.

Thotakura was a member of the crew aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard-25 (NS-25) mission, led by Jeff Bezos.

Upon his return, Thotakura expressed his immense gratitude and national pride. “I am overjoyed to be back home,” he told the Economic Times. “It’s an honor to represent India on this groundbreaking mission.”
