While preparing for UPSC, Akshay Ridlan read about a 17-year-old autistic boy who went missing—only to be wrongly sent off on a train. He was never found. Shaken, Akshay launched Project Chetna—powered by QR-coded pendants that store contact and medical details, helping reunite lost individuals with their families.

From elders with dementia to children with disabilities, these lockets have become a lifeline for worried families. “This is just the beginning. I want more people to step forward and be part of this,” he says.
