Breaking Barriers: Inclusivity in Women's Heart Health

Advertisment

Fatigue, breathlessness, and dizziness aren’t always “just stress” in women. Sometimes, they’re signs that the heart is asking for help. A new study—The RHEIA Trial, focused entirely on women's heart health, specifically the first dedicated randomised TAVI (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation) trial in women,— is helping doctors understand how certain treatment options can be more beneficial for women suffering from a conditon called severe symptomatic aortic stenosis (ssAS)

It’s also showing why TAVI, a minimally invasive procedure, could offer safer and better outcomes for women with ssAS.

Women deserve stronger hearts—this Women’s Day and every day.
