“You left your child to ride bikes?” they asked. But my son Vedhansh was my wind.

Born with a rare disorder, he fought battles daily—and so did I. At 35, I chose life: learned biking, trekked, found myself. Vedhansh, my cheerleader, runs an ice cream shop with a life support machine.
