Uma Muthuraaman

Uma was born and raised in Chennai, in South India. She currently lives with her family in Cologne, Germany. Her early years in India and later Singapore give her strong Asian roots while her exposure to European culture, people and cities gives her new ways of seeing and adapting to this universe. She loves to travel, write (mostly about unsung heroes and unacclaimed places), indulge in chocolate tasting and debunk ridiculous Asian stereotypes in Europe! When she is not expanding her german vocabulary, she is on her yoga mat twisting, turning, bending, sun saluting, meditating and most importantly breathing - to let go and start afresh every day. Uma is also a volunteer at the IAHV. You can browse uma at www.umamuthuraaman.com or follow her on Twitter @umamuthuraaman Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/uma.muthuraaman) Instagram (umamuthuraaman)
